Brico Center

It's been a long time and I stop working on this material.

Store Panel

Brico Center is an Italian company operating in large-scale distribution, specializing in construction, DIY, carpentry, gardening, decoration, lighting. Brico Center chain focuses mainly on DIY (Do It Yourself) items, but also sells garden related articles and much more. The chain has many locations spread all over Italy and the rest of Europe. The name Brico comes from the French bricoler, which means to do DIY.

Conceived and designed the Brico Center Store Panel in order to provide all the BricoCenter stores' personal technical administrators with main web service functionalities like creating the store instances and managing relative shopping items (gates, cash desk, servers and so on)

Style Guide

The use of the Style Guide performed the function of providing a Color System, Typography Scale, Icon System and Building Blocks based on the Brico Center Brand Identity. During the design of the administration panel, it was necessary to undertake a design process such as to recreate an interactive and navigable demo behind a careful study of the Layout structure

Interaction Design

Thanks to the design technology, it was possible to explore new horizons for presenting the prototype by offering a Design Scenario divided into compartmentalized interaction moments, each of which involved the processing of a User Interface Scenography Design.

This section allows to organise and manage the stores related to a specific BricoStore branch area in the country

Mockup

Group Device

They represents the group of devices to be used inside the stores and they can be organised in groups

Mockup

Devices

Creation of a single device, in this case a POS tool to be used by assistants

Mockup

Tools

Devices can be managed as single tool for a better usability

Scenario Board

This app prototype was split in many Flow Interactions (Ui Patterns) with the result of a User Interface Scenography. The purpose behind this choice, is to give the user single Ui sections to test each related features and better focus on them

Access

Flow #01
What user see at first loading? This concept gives a clear idea. Loading mask can be fancy and at the same time functional in order to introduce the user to the login form

Creation

Flow #02
This process simulate the creation process of the main instances as stated above: stores, group of devices along with singles device. Notes aside for the web services table information

Manage

Flow #03
In this section, the given flow interactions simulate the idea of organising and managing the instances created in first place. Many editing features were conceived in order to provide the users with as many actions as possible

Patterns

The application has performed very well to facilitate the creation and production of innumerable interactive possibilities such as to better facilitate the experience of the Brico Center staff in the management of shops and related services. Even though I conceived the store manger at its first version, I wanted to give extra functionalities to make the information reading more usable and accessible. Saying I created Interactions of any kind such as Contextual Bar, Filter, Sort, Lazy Load, Seach Focus, Tooltip, Info Panels and much more
