I'm working to make this project look better. I'm reviewing the content
During the period in the Academy of Fine Arts, a series of three-dimensional modeling were produced accompanied by the process of texturing and animation. I was able to practice, explore and experiment techniques and methods through the study of anthropomorphic forms, objects of various kinds such as bottles, machines, airships, panoramic landscapes, artistic abstraction and also the use of special animated effects. Back in time, anytime I had a chance, I conceived and produced 3D stuff taking care of modeling and texturing, my favourite part of 3D production. I enjoyed modeling any kind of object such as cars, people, fantasy characters, panoramas and even more whether they concerned hi-poly and low-poly (game) environments. I liked Special Fxs as well, besides 3D shortclip production
The use of 3D modeling to create abstract effects can take on the appearance of a painting even in 2 dimensions
Anthropomorphic modeling was a demanding subject and involved not only the anatomical study of the human body but also the fictitious one of cartoons. Animals with interesting learnings over time were not lacking in the study list.
However, the modeling process always started with the drawing on paper in order to set the proportions and then bring them back into the 3D moderation program.
As an alternative to drawing it was also possible to adopt a photographic approach and thus use the best shot to import it into the 3D moderation program. From the same photo it was also possible to obtain the texture to be applied to the model in a second phase, texturing
The world of video games was in the midst of its explosion at the gates of the new millennium, but hardware technology still did not favor excellent performance in terms of computing speed. It is for this reason that in those years I was modeling objects, characters, landscapes, spaceships according to the 3D Lowpoly technique. Some of these shapes were also used in Short Clips
The objects lent themselves very well for an in-depth study of advanced 3D modeling techniques, such as vehicles or bottles and much more.
The study of landscapes was focused on the different techniques and methods to obtain different results. For example, the study of atmospheric depth in harmony with the 3D technologies available in those years, the texturing procedure on the models and much more.
Over time I have also applied my studies in the field of short films, such as in this story of a silhouette that comes to life to undertake a series of obstacles along its path with the aim of taking a position on the bathroom signs.
The use of special effects was suitable for the study of gaseous, liquid or solid states such as an explosion or the flame of a candle. Even the animations of the fictional characters were an opportunity to deepen techniques related to the concept of Rigging, Skinning and Skeleton to move objects and bodies such as a fantasy cartoon
